About Us
Who we are?
EH Welding is comprised of Eric H. Smith and his father Rod
Smith. Both are AWS D1.1 Certified. Rod Smith has been a
welding instructor for almost 30 years and has over 45 years in
the welding industry. Rod also holds AWS CWI (Certified
Welding Inspector) and CWE (Certified Welding Educator). Eric
Smith has been welding with Rod since he was 10 years old
and holds a Diploma in Welding. Rod started EH Welding in
1986 as a hobby business. In 2008 after many years in the
aviation industry Eric decided to take over the business and
turn it into a full time enterprise. All other employees are AWS
Certified and comply with all safety and training requirements.
Eric's wife Kelly is the President of the company and she does
absolutely nothing but we still love her.
What we do on site?
EH Welding is a complete portable welding service. EH
Welding utilizes a Hobart Champion Model 16 Gas Drive SMAW
Welder as well as a portable Miller 212 GMAW unit with
Aluminum capabilities and Miller High Frequency GTAW unit.
EH Welding can weld most metals and plastics on site so that
reduces your downtime.
What we do in our shop?
We utilize a Miller ABP330 SMAW/GTAW welder as well as a
Miller 185 GMAW. We also have a Miller Plasma cutter, two
lathes and two milling machines. We also provide custom CAD
drawings and fabrication of parts using a Waterjet Cutter. We
can fabricate just about anything you need or want.
