Who we are?
EH Welding is comprised of Eric H. Smith and his father Rod Smith. Both are AWS D1.1 Certified. Rod Smith has been a welding
instructor for almost 30 years and has almost 45 years in the welding industry. Eric Smith has been welding with Rod since he was 10
years old and holds a Diploma in Welding.
What we do on site?
EH Welding is a complete portable welding service. EH Welding utilizes a Hobart Champion Model 16 Gas Drive SMAW Welder as
well as a portable Miller MIG unit and Miller High Frequency TIG unit. EH Welding can weld most metals and plastics on site so that
reduces your downtime.
What we do in our shop?
We utilize a Miller ABP330 SMAW/GTAW welder as well as a Miller 185 GMAW. We also have a Miller Plasma cutter, two metal
lathes and two metal milling machines. We also provide custom CAD drawings and fabrication of parts utilizing a Techni Waterjet
Cutter. We can fabricate just about anything you need or want.
Where do we go?
We currently serve Alamance, Caswell, Davidson, Guilford, Forsyth, Randolph, Rockingham, and Stokes Counties in NC and Floyd,
Franklin, Halifax, Henry, Patrick, and Pittsylvania in VA. We are willing to travel further but please call for rates.
What are our rates?
For onsite welding it is $120.00 call out and that includes the first hour. After the first hour we charge $60.00 per hour in 15 minute
increments. We also may charge for preparation of work between $5.00 and $100.00 depending on what needs to be done. Plastic
welding has no callout and is $15.00 per hour or portion thereof.
For shop welding we charge $40.00 per hour and billed in 15 minute increments. Machining work is $50.00 per hour and billed in 15
minute increments. AUTOCAD work is billed at $25.00 per hour billed in 15 minute increments. Waterjet rates are $40.00 and up
based on material type, thickness and number of cuts.

Warrantee
We will guarantee the workmanship of our welds in the normal wear and tear of the part or item being repaired. If our weld breaks
under normal use we will repair it again at no extra charge. We take pride in our work and want you to be a satisfied and repeat
customer.
